Did a bit of backpacking after graduation, mainly in europe, still remember the feeling of awe when standing in St Peter's square the very first time. I think it's important to see the world, strongly recommend to everyone and do it when you are young - before all the attachments change your mind :-)

I live in the States and have traveled to a LOT of countries within the US, Europe and Asia. My next trip will be to Australia/New Zealand. After that, I think I'll start venturing to Africa.

Some countries i will strongly advised you against going.......! ie: warring states, religion extremist countries, and generally dangerous countries. Dangerous leh, my friend!

try backpacking if you consider traveling the world in a cheaper way. and there's always that now-everybody-can-fly budget airlines.
backpacking in Europe sounds terrific. visit ancient historical remains like chateaus, castles... and feel like a princess in it. wouldn't it be nice if u had a sponsor to video shoot ur travels? ;)
Some frens working in Ireland told me Belgium is one of the bestestest countries to visit. And Malta is also a very interesting place to go too! They've worked there for about a year, and they've visited almost every country in Europe, and is now venturing into middle east/west asia.
Does that mean you wanna go to Sparta too?

When I was 10, I met some backpackers who gave up their job to see the world in two years. At that instance, I decided to do the same. Today, I have traveled the world, not for two years, but twenty years! It is a dream come true, and still feels like a dream!
