My Blue Ash Grey Gradation Hair

A year ago I told my stylist I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue to maintain my platinum blonde hair or grow out my dark roots. But I was sure I didn't want to burden my scalp any further so I requested for an ombre look. Problem was most blonde ombre hairs were pretty unnatural where there's this obvious line separating the dark and blonde hair.

So he sat me down and performed a 7-hour magic on my hair. It was the longest hair makeover I've ever had to endure in one sitting.

But the result was one whole year of flawless hair WITHOUT any maintenance. It was the best money I've ever spent on hair.

He didn't just give me natural, he gave me gradation. That even the darkest roots could blend naturally into my lightest platinum blonde bleached hair.

This was one year of not cutting nor coloring nor bleaching my hair. Talk about the low hair maintenance.

Then I decided it was time to do something. So I found a day that I was spare and went back to him. And I asked the impossible. And again, he made it possible.

He gave me this.

Two-tone gradation: ash blonde blending into ash blue.

I loved it!
Blue dye on hair washes off incredibly fast. Usually after 1 or 2 wash it'll be completely gone.

After one wash, it faded into this gorgeous blue grey. I had it curled to bring out the color.

The hair dye continued to fade into lovely colors of different shade. By the time I brought it to Japan, I had the most glorious hair to pair with the blooming cherry blossom of Kyoto.

I'm loving my stylist to bits now.
I can only look forward to the next visit to my favourite saloon.
